- Name it Coglen, paste the server URL above into Server URL and choose OAuth for authentication.
- Review the risk warning. If you want to continue, select I understand and want to continue, then choose Create as a plugin. Sign in to Coglen when prompted, using the same account you use on the Coglen website.
- Find Coglen in your personal Plugins or the workspace where you created it, then install it.
- Start a new chat, type
@and select Coglen. Tell it what you want to study.
Your ChatGPT workspace may restrict custom connections. If the option is missing or sign-in fails, contact Coglen support.
Read OpenAI’s current custom connection guide.
Choose your subject
Section titled “Choose your subject”When using Coglen in ChatGPT, tell it what you’re studying. For example:
I’m studying an introductory university course in pedagogy. Help me practise.
You can begin without a study plan or a general course outline.
Try the question
Section titled “Try the question”Give your answer. If you’re unsure, say what you think and where you got stuck. That gives the feedback something useful to work with.
Learn from the answer
Section titled “Learn from the answer”Look for an explanation of any mistakes, then try the next question. The aim is to put the feedback to use while the reasoning is still fresh.
